Bell County, town by town

Five towns, five different reasons to live in them. No rankings, no invented statistics — just what each place is actually like.

Bell County generally

Bell County sits on I-35 between Austin and Waco, with Fort Hood anchoring the west side. That mix — a large military installation, a substantial medical employment base in Temple, and small historic towns — gives the county a broader range of housing than most areas its size. Where you land depends far more on commute and neighborhood than on city limits.
